Me Philippe Duplantie

Me Philippe Duplantie was admitted to the Bar of Quebec in 2009 and works primarily in family law and estate law.

Before becoming a lawyer, Me Duplantie worked as a court clerk at the Superior Court of the Montreal courthouse, where he partook in several trials. This work experience allowed him to build his confidence when attending court and to become a more efficient lawyer as he is today.

Me Duplantie began his legal career in one of Montreal's leading International Family law firm as an articling student, and after having been called to the Quebec Bar in 2009, as a lawyer, the whole until 2012 when he co-founded FSD Law Group Inc.

Me Duplantie has pleaded cases pertaining to international family law, specifically matters involving the application of foreign matrimonial regimes of countries such as Germany and the United States of America (Vermont and Florida).

Me Duplantie has worked alongside Me Pierre-Hugues Fortin in both short and long term cases. These experiences have enabled Me Duplantie to grow as an attorney and sharpen his courtroom skills. Me Duplantie’s interest in technology as well as his pragmatic approach makes him an effective lawyer in a judicial world where technology  represents an increasing part in the conduct of proceedings.
